There are several "Recording Schools" in the area that will teach people to capture professional quality recordings. However, it is often too costly -- and the catch is: Students are taught on high-end consoles utilizing gear that is too expensive for the average artist/engineer to even consider purchasing.

Using inexpensive mics and Pro Tools® (M-Powered or LE) -- you will find that it does not take a fortune to create mixes that can compete on any level.
